Course Description:

Your student’s imagination will run wild in this coding and programming adventure. Students will create their own interactive stories and animated adventures. They will learn drag and drop programming with Scratch, LEARNToMOD, ALICE and other kid friendly coding and programming user friendly tools. They will create their own multi-level video games complete with custom characters and unique objects and adventures.

Students will take Home:

Each student will take home project files that can be accessed from the web using their mobile devices as well as from the desktop version of the coding and game creation tools. Students will gain software and hardware skills development. They will also acquire problem solving, critical thinking and expand their creativity while adapting new challenges.

Is this Coding/Programming workshop appropriate for my child?

This coding/programming workshop is customized for the beginner to more advanced learners ages 5-13 (minimum age of 5 at time of class). This workshop is delivered in small student clusters and individually tailored for each student’s interest level in computers. This is an exciting option that is perfect for active and imaginative students who wish to learn the basics and beyond of coding and programming.
